It’s been a while since I did a more personal piece on here. But when I stumbled upon the Ultimate Blog Challenge prompts for August 2021, one topic spoke to me. “Why do you do what you do?”
Candrel’s Crafts, Cooks, and Characters was born five years ago after I had left the classroom. I was working part-time as a VA for a book blog tour company and a lifestyle blogger. I was starting to miss doing my own. Outside of book promotion and reviewing, my other writing had been halted by major life upheaval and the closure of those sites for which I used to write.
I hit the ground running and then, oh wait, life had to rear its ugly head again. So I have kept it going simply with author interviews, book blasts, and lots of giveaways. I do share a lot more on the actual Facebook page. You wouldn’t believe the mountain of material I have just waiting to go up. I have a strong creative side. I’m just trying to get back in touch with it.
I love sharing great books, crafts, and especially food and beverages. This is one of my outlets on which I hope to get going again soon. There’s definitely more on Facebook and Twitter because there is so much good information out there to share. I love to share what I learn and find. I hope you can find some joy and use in it as well and get inspired to be more creative in your life, or at least read some good books and win some fun new things.
